Back in March, we previewed the Sneakerheadz documentary that debuted at SXSW, and now we're learning that an official release date is just around the corner.

Sneaker-related films and documentaries have been done before, but never quite like this. Sneakerheadz spans from coast to coast and country to country as it breaks down nearly ever facet of the culture we're all so attached to.

Don't believe us? Just check out the clip below, where you'll catch insights from the likes of Frank the Butcher, Jeff Staple, Deon Point, Jon Buscemi, Vashtie, DJ Clark Kent, and many more sneaker culture veterans. No matter how much of an expert you claim to be, there's valuable knowledge here that can benefit each and every 'head.

Sneakerheadz is now available for pre-order with an August 21 release. For $13, you can lock down a streamable copy and watch it as many times as you want.

To Rock or Stock? Sneakerheads will do almost anything to get their hands on a unique pair of kicks, going to such extreme lengths as hiding in trash cans to score a pair of Retro Jordan 11s to camping for days in sub zero temperatures for the latest Nike Foamposites. How did sneakers become as prized as collectable art? From the shores of Cali to the congested streets of Tokyo, Sneakerheadz examines the cultural influence of sneaker collecting around the world and delves into a subculture whose proud members don’t just want to admire art, they want to wear it.
