Of all the advancements and technology that Nike cranks out on a regular basis, the Free Inneva Woven remains one of its most spectacular achievements. Each sneaker is hand woven, a process that can take up to eight hours to complete, which explains their hefty price tag. Now, NikeLab has unveiled a sequel to the popular silhouette.

Although its "Woven" designation has been dropped, it's clear that these NikeLab Free Inneva IIs still have a healthy dose of the basket-like weave that sets them apart. A portion of what appears to be nubuck or leather has been woven into the side panels and heel, which means that these will probably offer more support than their predecessor. Elsewhere, the design remains unaltered, carrying over its Free 5.0 outsole tooling.

So far, these have been previewed in NikeLab staple black and white monotone colorways. They're both set to drop on August 22 from NikeLab online and select stores, although a price point has yet to be determined.
