If last year was the year of Huarache, then 2015 might as well be labeled as the year of the Nike Air Presto. There, I said it. The brand hasn't gone overboard and released a ton of colorways yet, but it's been digging in the archives to retro the original versions that people have been waiting to return for years. The latest to make a comeback is the "Island Blue," and it's releasing sooner than you'd expect.
The folks over at Sneakers Addict have confirmed that Nike, at least in Europe, will drop these runners on September 4, with a retail price of $147.
As with the other Presto retros, it's hard to imagine these not eventually dropping in the U.S., too. Whatever the case may be, it will be good to see these pair back on shelves in the near future.
