After Nike shook up the sneaker game in 2012 with the "Galaxy" Foamposites, the celestial theme quickly became commonplace, popping up on everything from Vans to Converse and inspiring a wave of online DIY tutorials. Now that the trend has cooled off a bit, ASICS is offering up its own take on the nebula prints.

Using the popular Gel-Lyte III as its canvas, ASICS has created two galaxy-inspired colorways. The first, pictured above, is the more restrained of the two, with a colorful print appearing throughout the liner and signature split tongue. Meanwhile, the second offering goes all-out with a starry sky design on the underlays including the toe box.

Whatever your preference, both styles are now available from atmos Tokyo online. Hopefully, a U.S. release will follow sooner than later.
