Violetta Thalia's career started when she got a job as an assistant stylist with Rankin—yes, that Rankin—which isn't something you just stumble into, you've got to have a certain something. It's no surprise that after this her services were super in-demand, and she began working with artists like Wiley, Major Lazer, and Rudimental, before getting the nod as Fashion Editor at Viper magazine. 

Never content with sticking to one discipline, she's also worked as a costume designer on two British feature films; Ill Manors (directed by Plan B), and Anti-Social (directed by Reg Traviss). Motivated by her day to day interactions with other creative, interesting people, Thalia is always on the look out for the next project, and the next collaboration.

Jordan Vickors is something of an enigma. At the tender age of 21, he's doing things that most people can only dream of; he's working closely with a number of names*, having his photography published in magazines, hanging out at the side of Skepta's festival sets, and walking in fashion shows. Don't judge him by his age though, his work is great, and his motivation seems limitless. 

Kids like Jordan tend to gravitate towards each other, and somehow find each other even when they live in different countries. Vickors' close group of friends is one of his main sources of inspiration, and his extended chosen family is spread across the world, which means his impulsive travel tendencies come in handy. They don't hurt his social media numbers either, which we all know, is hella important.

There's nothing quite as good as working with someone industrious, and this is what helped Akin Davies make his name as a producer and facilitator. Taking on responsibilities, taking risks, asking questions, and learning from people's experiences are what drives him, and it's taken him a long way, along with pairing his confident ideas with humility when working with others. 

His outlook on life is pretty unique, and when asked about the future, he's got some interesting ideas about what he thinks he'll get; “literally whatever I deserve, I just hope today goes well. The rest I’ll leave up to Mother Nature. She’s done me a good service so far.”

If you've ever been to Rita's Bar and Dining in East London, you've eaten Gabriel Pryce's food. Set up with two friends, Rita's started as a pop-up in someone else's bar, before progressing into its own premises. Dude is dedicated AF to his work; he works all day, every day, which has gotta be tough, especially on the social life. But when you love what you're doing, it's all about doing it as much as you can. 

Taking inspiration from his colleagues, the chefs he admires, and the people enjoying his food, Pryce is always looking to do more, and as long as his future includes working with the people he loves and making good food, he's all about it.

Jessica Horwell has been on a hustle for a hot minute; she started out crafting jewelry from things she found in hardware shops, but quickly moved into designing a clothing line called Hardware LDN. Early on, making it work meant putting every penny earned back into the business, but like a true business mind, she made it work, and right now, her future is going to be exactly what she makes it; “you can’t wait for it to come to you, go get it, you got to keep on hustling.”

Guillaume Le Goff is just cool. He went from making zines with his friends to spending ten years as a director at French magazine Clark—which he co-founded, too. He's now moved on to working freelance projects and curating events and parties in his hometown of Paris, which is just sick. Who doesn't want to live that life?

Passion, fun, and the will to change things in a positive way drive Guillaume, despite the difficulties of coming from an independant scene and trying to make a living from it. Times can be tough, but the future is always hopeful, especially for someone like Guillaume, who firmly believes "the best is yet to come."

Filmmaker Sergi Castella has always felt the urge to tell stories, and finds his favourite language to do that with is his films. Sergi started out writing, producing, and directing a TV pilot, which introduced him to the world of television. He now works mostly on creative projects that inspire him, while trying to strike the balance between doing what he loves, and doing what pays the bills. What really drives him though, and what has got him to this point in his career, is striving for what means success to him; happiness, love, and personal growth.

Founding a magazine can be hard work—seriously, ask Marc Eckō—but Kira Stachowitsch founded INDIE magazine at 19, while studying for her art history degree. Talent counts for a lot, and Kira managed to overcome the struggles of launching a magazine without the background of a big publishing house, and insists that the personal and professional freedom is worth the difficulties she's had to encounter. And while she hopes her job will help her see the world and all the great things in it, she's in the market for a little more free time. But aren't we all?
