The last time we heard from Amsterdam's Filling Pieces, it was preparing to release an exclusive collection with online retailer Mr Porter. Now, the brand continues to push boundaries as it fills the void between street and high end with luxurious new materials for Fall/Winter 2015.

At the heart of the collection is a brand new silhouette, the Low Ultra. Combining design cues from the Low Top and Mid Top Transformed models, this new model features the heel and ankle strap found on the Mid Top Transformed while retaining an overall low cut shape.

The Low Ultra, along with the brand's other popular silhouettes, such as the standard Low Top and Mountain Cut, have been outfitted with new materials never before used by Filling Pieces. Among the new fabrics are a laser-cut leather mesh with reflective 3M underlays (pictured above), waxed leather, hand-woven patterns, and a padded and stitched leather known as the "Avatar" style.

Filling Pieces is already comfortably settled at the forefront of the mid-level sneaker market, and with moves like this, it won't be going anywhere anytime soon. The entire Fall/Winter 2015 collection is now available from Filling Pieces online and will soon be released at retailers including KITH, Mr Porter, and colette.
