After news of Nike's cancellation of its Air Jordan I "Chicago" and "Pinnacle" releases, sneakerheads took to Twitter once again to voice their opinions on the matter.

As expected, many fans were heated with Nike's decision to cancel the much anticipated Jordan 1s while others were happy to see that Nike was attempting to address the BOT situation. While the decision to cancel the release the day before the actual drop may seem peculiar, Nike did what they felt they needed to do.

Below are some of the more notable Twitter reactions:

Without this "fuckery," how can we expect change?

Obviously.

This could very well be true.

Hope your landlord is a sneakerhead, Shav.

It's doubtful Kanye ever had to worry about Nike Store releases while at Nike.

Sound advice from Mr. "Oreos and Corks."

Dramatic much?

While sarcastic, a combination of all your suggestions would probably help alleviate the Bot issue.

Folks have plenty of reasons to boycott Nike, not being to cop an online release is probably the least important one.

lol

Breathe.

Oh ye, of little faith... You're probably right though.

But life goes on and things will get better.

You're just emotional right now. You'll be fiendin' over Nikes again in no time.

I believe both forms are accepted. But Nike might've saved the other "L" to hand out to whiny sneakerheads.

Preach.

Bots don't realize it's more fun cause bots don't have feelings. Unless you're Chappie.

High-five, bud.

Because no Nike Store release - or lack thereof - would be complete without a tweet of this nature.

[Update May 30, 2015, 11:50am]

It appears Nike has rescheduled the Air Jordan I "Chicago" and "Pinnacle" for three months from now. Ouch. At least some 'heads might have a shot at copping these for back to school.
