So unbeknownst to the sneaker community, or me at least, Uniqlo dropped its entry into the shoe game calling their model the "Men Shoe Lace Sneaker."
A fairly basic canvas low-top, most sneakerheads will immediately notice the similarity to the Vans Era. A staple of cool and casual and one of the most knocked off silhouettes in sneaker history, Uniqlo is the latest to draw inspiration from the California classic. Priced at roughly $35, the shoe comes in a variety of colors and about $10 cheaper than the $45 Era. Considering many 'heads will consider copping based on value alone, they might want to check out this hands-on review from a fan who shared their story on Imgur.
From package details, to close-up images of the shoe's construction, and comparison shots of it against a pair of Common Projects, the aforementioned Eras, and Nike Air Force 1s, the post should answer many of the questions fans may have regarding the Men Shoe Lace Sneaker. As a bonus to the post, the contributor manages to work in a worthwhile and surprising conclusion.
With sizes ranging from 5-10, big-footed people have once again been left out of the equation. Considering Uniqlo is a Japanese label, its not very common to meet a Japanese male with large feet outside of its national basketball team. If you do fall into the size range though, you can direct from uniqlo's website here.
