Adam Levine's Kmart sneaker bears a striking resemblance to a popular luxury model.

Another day, another bootleg sneaker popping up at Kmart. Following in the footsteps of his fellow "The Voice" judge, Pharrell Williams, it appears Adam Levine is set on making his mark in the sneaker game.

Part of the Adam Levine Collection — which is currently available at Kmart and dropping at Sears next month — the "Black Lace-Up Sneaker" is described as a low-top faux-leather with a solid "Ivory" outsole, contrasting "Taupe" interior, and an embossed #222 on the back heel. Fun fact, 222 is the name of Levine's record label. Anyone that pays attention to the luxury sneaker game will immediate recognize that these are a straight up knockoff of the Common Projects Achilles Low which is arguably a knockoff of the adidas Stan Smith. So where does that leave this shoe? The assumption is most would clown on their boys, their peers if they copped or rocked. But why? Saying it's a knockoff is a legit and fair argument. Quality could be another argument. But at $30, what do you really expect to get?

Uniqlo recently released its "Men's Shoe Lace Sneaker"  which is essentially a Vans Era. At $35, it pretty much in the same category as these Levines. But my gut tells me that Uniqlo's offering is probably going to be widely accepted in the sneaker community than these Levines joints.
