Nike will be celebrating the Air Max 90 silhouette's 25 years in the game in a major way.

A special "Cork" iteration of the coveted "Infrared" AM90 colorway is officially set to release in April, according to UK shop Urban Industry. True to the festive spirit, cork covers a majority of the upper with striking infrared accents providing an extra pop of color against the bark material.

We first saw leaked images of the special runner back in September, but this is the first time it's been acknowledged by a Nike retailer with an actual product shot.

While this isn't the first time we've seen Nike use cork material on a sneaker, releases have been few and far between. There was the LeBron X back in 2012 and special NIKEiD options just last year.
