There's Finally a "Bred" Nike Air Max 1 Coming Out, and It Drops Soon

Nike Air Max 1 "Bred" previews.

Nike Air Max 1 "Bred"

Ever since Michael Jordan put on that Bulls uniform, the combination of black and red has never been the same. The "Bred" colorway spearheaded the Jordan Brand line and has become synonymous with everything MJ. While the colorway has been around since the Air Jordan 1, it's never actually been utilized on another classic Nike sneaker, the Air Max 1. But that changes now.

The Air Max 1, which is just two years shy of its 30th anniversary, will finally be available in a black and red color scheme for general release (those custom NIKEiD joints you created don't count). Previewed here, the vintage runner is equipped with leather paneling and features color-blocking similar to the Air Jordan 1. There's even an O.G. "Nike Air" hit indented on the lateral side of the heel.

According to Sole Collector, the U.S should see a February 9 release with a retail price of $130.
