Last week, Converse CONS revealed their latest collaboration, a four-way 'Breakpoint' project with four leading European sneaker boutiques—London's Footpatrol, Amsterdam's Patta, Solebox from Berlin, and Paris' Starcow. Each store was given the freedom to represent its local culture in the collaboration, and the Breakpoint silhouette is the ideal sneaker to let them play with.
Each pair of sneakers from the collection comes with an accompanying zine—a different one for each city—that features artists selected by each store to contribute pages, helping to create a beautifully presented snapshot of the culture and art surrounding each store. Breaks Mag, an online original content magazine, took the time to visit four of the artists featured in the London edition of the zine, to try and find out more about them, and how their surroundings influence their art.
