The connection between Georgetown and Jordan Brand runs deep. Besides donning the Jumpman as an official sponsor of the label, the Hoyas became very familiar with Michael Jordan early in his career. It was a young MJ who helped UNC defeat Georgetown for the NCAA Championship in 1982.

It's this history between the two that has actually led to some really awesome sneakers, which have mostly come in the form of PEs. But now, you might actually have a shot to own a pair of Hoyas-themed Js.

Previewed here is the upcoming "Georgetown" Air Jordan XI Low, which is rumored to release in June. The sneaker sports a grey upper and a navy patent leather mud guard with a matching interior.

This latest Air Jordan preview is courtesy of Ron Raichura of London's Crepe City, who also previewed "Bred" XI Lows earlier.
