A few weeks back, we saw Tracy McGrady star in a Foot Locker ad with Damian Lillard poking fun at his "rookie" time while playing in China. Although T-Mac's time in China only lasted one season, his impact on the culture was evident and adidas recognized that with a special colorway of the T-Mac 3.
Made from premium materials, the T-Mac 3 "Chinese New Year" comes with a black serpent skin base, perforated leather through the upper, and done in a black and red scheme to honor the Year of the Ram. With the Chinese New Year looming this February 19, expect these to be a major hit internationally, but we're just hoping we see them make a stateside debut as well. No official word on a release date, but check out the pictures below, and let us know if you would scoop up a pair when they eventually drop.
