No release date was mentioned in the preview so it came as a surprise to many that Play Cloths released its Saucony Shadow Grid 9000 yesterday. the 'Motocross,' the shoe draws inspiration from the sport known for aggressive, hard-nosed, high flying action and the vibrant nature of many of the riders uniforms.
The Motocross 9000 consists of a mixed material upper of suede and ripstop nylon highlighted by a "Dress Blue" base with a "Mimosa Yellow" toe box and tongue and "Chili Pepper Red" along the midpanel and collar. The shoe is in stark contrast to the mostly black offerings from its Holiday 2014 delivery, but fans that enjoy the matching up their kicks to their gear will be happy to know that a small capsule collection accompanies the release of the shoe.
