Legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield invited Quickstrike's Russ Bengtson and DJ Clark Kent to Nike Campus in Beaverton, Ore. to talk, well, anything and everything Nike related.
In part 4 of the Tinker interview, Russ and Clark are joined by Nike designers Mark Smith, senior creative director of innovation, and Eric Avar, VP of design innovation, and talk about what other projects Tinker wished he had worked on. He points to Avar who designed Kobe Bryant's current signature shoe, the Kobe 9 Elite, and waxes poetic on how it's "one of the most iconic, most beautiful shoe designs" Tinker has ever seen.
