Brooks might not exactly be a household name to sneakerheads, but the American footwear company has been in the the game for 100 years, putting in work in the performance running space. The brand is looking to take aim at sneaker culture through its Heritage lineup and recently dropped a collaboration with premier sneaker shop BAIT.
The limited release, which celebrates the opening of BAIT's brand new Seattle brick-and-mortar and Brooks' 100th anniversary, is color-blocked perfectly with striking hues that show off the sneaker's clean silhouette and lines. Appropriately nicknamed "Centennial," the collaboration covers the vintage Chariot runner with pigskin suede overlays and a smooth leather base. Hits of teal and red work their way from the heel to the quarter, while a deep navy takes over the mid-foot and toe. Rounding out the color scheme is a contrasting white Brooks logo plastered right in the middle of the medial and lateral sides.
