adidas unveiled it's latest special collection of basketball footwear today, this time drawing inspiration from the famous New York City subway line.
The collection consists of the D Rose 5 Boost, Crazy 8, and Crazy 2 all featuring metallic silver uppers with hits of yellow and black that truly give off the vibe of the NYC subway. The standout of the lot, at least performance wise, has to be the D Rose 5, which comes in a silver mesh SPRINT WEB upper, metallic silver mud guard, with hits of yellow on the outsole, laces, and tongue logo. Of course the Three Stripes had to bring some retro classics into the mix as well with the ever iconic Crazy 8, and the Crazy 2, respectively.
The adidas "Broadway Express" collection will be available online at adidas as well as at select retailers beginning January 8.
