A French Artist Makes Sneakers from Flowers and Plants for a Series Called 'Just Grow It'

Check out the series of works here.

Parisian artist Cristophe Guinet has recreated a range of Nike sneakers, using the silhouettes and shoes as a base for his sculptures, made from flowers, plants, rocks, poppies, seeds, flower petals and wood. The series is titled 'Just Grow It', and suggests viewers rediscover the beauty in nature, by associating it with the beauty they find in manufactured goods. The natural kicks are realised perfectly, with every aspect from the swoosh to the sole sitting as they should.
