Quickstrike: Tinker Hatfield Explains Just How Few Employees Have Been in the Nike Winnebago

Quickstrike travels to Nike HQ in Portland, Ore. to sit with Tinker Hatfield and talks about Nike's humble history in part 1 of this series.

Legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield invited Quickstrike's Russ Bengtson and DJ Clark Kent to Nike Campus in Beaverton, Ore. to talk, well, anything and everything Nike related.

The trio sit in a 1972 Winnebago parked smack in the middle of the Nike Innovation Kitchen, the same year and make model that Nike first started selling shoes from in its early days. Tinker waxes poetic on the humble beginnings of the footwear behemoth and gives us an inkling to just how few people have actually been in that historic Winnebago. To see everything they talked about, check out part 1 of Quickstrike's sit down with Tinker Hatfield in the video above.
