PONY has been relatively quiet as of late, but it’s back with a fresh take on its Topstar Ox, with the launch of the Topstar Opus. Taking inspiration from the throwback silhouette, the Topstar Flash Pack will consist of three model make-ups. PONY will release two high-tops, one in all- black and an all-reflective silver pair. There’s also low-top in the pack that comes in white. Incorporating functionality and workability into the design, the New York-based brand has constructed a practical lifestyle shoe for anybody journeying the gritty streets of the city.
The all-black high is a foolproof makeup for winter, and the monotone leather upper treated with hints of 3M is a perfect complement to the shoe. The reflective silver high will serve its purpose and is not overdone, while the white low contrasted with a 3M heel is best served for that occasional break in weather during those colder months.
