The NBA All-Star will be extra special for sneakerheads next year.
In addition to Jordan Brand's plan to remaster O.G. styles in 2015, it will also be releasing two retro Xs to celebrate the All-Star game in New York. One colorway is the predominantly red "Bulls Over Broadway" and the other is the "Lady Liberty" iteration, which is seen here in better detail through a set of leaked images that recently surfaced.
Taking obvious inspiration from the Statue of Liberty, the Xs feature a pewter grey upper with black working its way on the tongue, eyelets, and along the midsole. There's a teal trim as well as a speckled sole for an extra pop to the mostly muted color scheme.
Watch out for these retro Xs to drop during NBA All-Star weekend next year.
