Converse wants to keep you laced in its signature Chuck Taylor model during the colder months ahead.

For the upcoming season, Converse is set to release a winter-ready Chuck that's constructed of a classic outerwear piece. Instead of its usual canvas make-up, the vintage high-top gets decked out in a quilted nylon upper that serves as a nod to typical down jacket. As part of the Converse First String category, the "Down Jacket" Chucks come in two monochromatic iterations—black and off-white—and even features a suede lining for extra warmth and insulation.

Both pairs launch November 28 through Converse.com and select Converse retail stores. Retail price will run you $100 each.
