The adidas Superstar achieved cult status when the shoes featured in RunDMC track, My Adidas back in 1986. From the minute Rev Run first told the world he had “blue and black for when I like to chill, and yellow and green when it's time get ill. "The track fuelled a desire to collect as many colourways of the kicks as a kid could afford."
Building on that legacy JD Sports have launched their exclusive to them, adidas Originals Superstar II 'Interchangeable Stripes' pack, which sees the classic silhouette take on a white or black leather upper, each with a polka dot accent on the heel.
The real highlight comes in the form of the interchangeable stripes, meaning you no longer have to buy fifty pairs—unlike Rev Run's homeboys—to co-ordinate them with your outfit steeze. Each pair comes with four different 3-stripe inserts.
