In commemoration of the Grammy Awards earlier in the year, adidas honored some of its own NBA athletes by giving them a special "Awards Season" Crazy 1 PE. The Knicks' Iman Shumpert got laced with a pair, and so did three-fifths of the Blazers' starting lineup.
It's not too often that "normal" sneakerheads can just get a pair of PEs, but adidas is giving them that opportunity next week.
Exclusive to New Jersey's Packer Shoes, the Crazy 1 "Awards Season" PE will be available for sale. The sneakers are outfitted in a gold leather upper, a crisp white tongue and ankle collar, and a subtle touch of red lining.
The sneakers will launch in-store on June 28 and any remaining pairs will be made available on PackerShoes.com. Retail is $140.
