For sneakerheads, the month of December has become synonymous with Air Jordan XI retros. Jordan Brand has been pumping out this patent leather goodness during the holiday season for several years now and the trend doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

For 2014, it's been speculated that the familiar "Columbia" colorway will see a re-release in the form of the "Legend Blue" XIs. To further reinforce this, there's a new image of this sneaker that recently surfaced. Despite the change in hues, the retro appears to be staying true to original form with a white leather and mesh upper and the XI's signature patent leather detailing. Subtle hits of legend blue are featured on the tongue and Jumpman, while the icy blue outsole complements the white upper.

If you still own a pair of the "Columbia" XIs fom '96 or '01, it looks like you'll be able to retire those yellowed kicks soon enough with the new "Legend Blue" iteration.
