Everyone remembers the trade that could have been. Back in December of 2011, Chris Paul was slated to the Lakers to join forces with Kobe Bryant, and hopefully sign Dwight Howard in the offseason to make the next NBA super team. Unfortunately for the Lakers, then Commissioner David Stern, ruled the trade as "unfair" and vetoed it from going through. Shortly after the deal fell through, the Clipper's swooped in to secure the All-Star point guard, and brought him in to become the face of the newly redesigned Clipper's along with highflying Blake Griffin. Paul and the Clippers have flourished leading the Clippers to a impressive 48-21 record thus far. After year's of irrelevance in the shadow of fellow Staple Center tenant Lakers, CP3 is has brought the Clippers back to respectable form.

Paul and Jordan have since teamed up to release seven signature pairs of sneakers for the point guard and just released pictures of the latest colorway. The "Clippers" Jordan CP3 VII gets a more advanced AE version with exposed Flywire along the upper. The sneakers also feature a white toe box, which gradually fades into Clipper blue towards the mid and is complemented by classic Clipper's red on the sole.

Let us know what you think of CP3's latest colorway and be sure to grab yourself a pair when they hit shelves, April 9.
