Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford and L.A.-based Brandblack have agreed to a multi-year partnership, making the 13-year NBA vet the first pro baller to rep the hotly anticipated basketball footwear company on a global scale.

Crawford is expected to debut his own signature line of Brandblack JCrossover shoes at some point in time later this season, and from the sound of it, he’s excited about the move.

“Joining BRANDBLACK was an easy decision for me,” said Crawford. “The performance and aesthetics of the line is second to none.  The minute I began to play in the shoes, I knew that I never wanted to wear another brand.  The craftsmanship and overall design of the shoe was beyond my expectations. Being BRANDBLACK’S first global ambassador affords me an opportunity to impact the style of the game that I love and to start my own legacy in sports apparel.”
