As LeBron preps for his 11th season in the NBA, Nike Basketball has prepared his coinciding signature sneaker. The Nike LeBron XI departs from the smoother cleaner lines of his past signature releases, and instead opts for a more jagged, but refined approach.

Weighing in at only 14.5 ounces, it's not only the lightest in the LeBron line, but it also presents a lower profile than past releases, while still looking like it may kick your ass at any given moment. Most of these changes can be attributed to the use of Hyperposite and Hyperfuse in the upper, but it also has a lot to do with the use of Lunarlon and Zoom for the cushioning. According the original Nike press release on the LeBron XI, the focus for the designers was to balance the duality of power and precision to mirror LeBron's game. This execution is revealed through the use of the aforementioned material and the addition of Dynamic Flywire across the upper to keep him locked in. The Nike LeBron XI "King's Pride" is set to release globally on October 12th for $200.
