The Phoenix Mercury and the Tulsa Shock was an incredible battle between these two teams. With the help of Diana Taurasi and her 28 points and 10 assists, the Mercury was able to hold off the Shock, winning 89-86. Tauras’s teammate Candice Dupree also had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Diana’s clutch performance was capped off with four made free throws that sealed the Mercury’s victory. "She does things so quietly then you look at the stat sheet and see that she has 28 points," Phoenix interim coach Russ Pennell said. "Male or female, I have never been around a competitor like her. Diana is fiery but she is all about the team. She is just a phenomenal player."
