All-white everything is, and always has been, the standard at the Wimbledon Championships. But this year, Roger Federer and Nike are pushing the boundaries of classic style and rebelling against the norm.

In his first-round win against Romania’s Victor Hanescu, R-Fed hit the grass courts at the All England Club in a pair of all-new Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour LE. It’s the same shoe Federer’s won countless tournaments in over the past year, but with a special edition colorway rolled out especially for Wimbledon. The shoe still conforms to the Wimbledon dress code thanks to an all-white upper and midsole. But Nike managed to sneak in a bright orange outsole to set the No. 3 tennis player in the world apart from the competition.

The Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour LE is available in limited qualities at select retailers, as well as at Nike.
