The Timex Ironman watch collection needs no introduction. Featuring a variety of high performance athletic watches, they have become the go-to choice for marathoners, triathletes, cyclists, and training enthusiasts all over the world. As if the series was lacking in star power, Timex as introduced a new addition to the Ironman series, the Timex Ironman Run Trainer 2.0 GPS.

The Run Trainer 2.0 is an updated model of the original Ironman Run Trainer. The latest edition is smaller in size, but features a more crisp high-resolution display that is easier to see during workouts. The watch allows athletes to keep track of their distance, pace, speed, heart rate, and even hydration and nutrition intervals. It can be submerged up to 50 meters under water, though the GPS feature won’t work when submerged.

Also new to the Run Trainer 2.0 is an upgraded navigation menu, making it easier to get to the functions you desire.

The Ironman Run Trainer 2.0 is priced at $225 ($275 w/ heart rate monitor). It will be available online and at specialty retail stores in the coming month.
