Nike Soccer has been responsible for engineering some pretty impressive cleats—just take the CTR360 Maestri III for example. The latest Nike creation for the soccer pitch, however, comes in the form of the recently unveiled GS 2 boot.

Worn by some of best European footballers, including Theo Walcott, Eden Hazard, and Mario Goetze (amongst others), the second generation of the Nike GS cleat is an improvement in every major category. It’s lighter, faster, and even more environmentally friendly than any other boot ever built by the Swoosh.

Beneath the classic black and white upper is a fine-tuned performance machine that will surely improve the game of even the worst of players. Soccer cleats are all about traction and control. Fortunately, the GS 2 has both of those covered with a Pebax traction plate that includes a minimalist diamond-shaped spine designed to provide maximum agility and responsiveness. Similar to the CTR360, the GS 2 has a Kanga-Lite synthetic toe box that not only feels great on the feet, but also enables you to show exceptional ball skills.

Rounding out the GS2 boot is the All Conditions Control (ACC) technology that ensures you have total control on the pitch regardless of what Mother Nature throws your way. Did we mention the cleat is made from recycled materials?

The GS 2 will be available to pre-order starting today, November 23 and to purchase on December 1 at Nike.
