Today the Jordan Brand unveiled their new flagship shoe, the Air Jordan 2012. Designed by veteran Nike designers Tinker Hatfield and Tom Luedecke, the Air Jordan 2012 presents as a full-on system, complete with two inner booties and three different insoles — that's six possible combinations of cushioning and support if you're counting at home. Starting tonight at midnight, you'll be able to purchase the Air Jordan 2012 Deluxe in the Wolf Grey and Volt combination shown here or a Carolina blue go for $223 (including both booties and all three insoles). A simpler package with one bootie and one insole will be available as an option starting on February 25th for $180. In addition, the Air Jordan 2012 and its multitude of options will hit NikeID on February 14th.

Inspired by "Jumptown" (Portland's jazz center in the '30s) and the resplendent outfits visitors decked themselves out in, the Air Jordan 2012 also features technological advances including a proprietary carbon weave along with a liberal dose of Flywire. Much more to come.
