Welp, it'll be very interesting to see how these are received. Seems like lots of sneakers are going on diets lately, even Nike's heralded Air Force 1. The Air Force 1 Light (as its being called) flaunts a slimmer midsole, as well as ditching the padding leaving only a thin layer of leather. Think of these as Uptowns on Slim Fast, look for these Julep joints (and presumably many more) next year. Will these be accepted by the AF1 diehards? Time will tell. [via Sneaker Freaker]
