Finally. The first trailer for Stranger Things season 2 has arrived.

Following several teasers and a premiere date announcement, Netflix delivered a three-minute trailer during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. The upcoming season will pick up in 1984, just a year after Will Byers (played by Noah Schnapp) was rescued from the Upside Down; however, it seems Will and the town of Hawkins, Indiana, aren’t in the clear and must face a new series of threats, like bigger, more terrifying monsters.

The trailer is equal parts creepy and exciting, using Vincent Price’s iconic voiceover from Michael Jackson’s 1982 hit “Thriller.” Of course, fans can expect a healthy dose of nostalgia, with plenty of 1980s references, including Ghostbusters costumes, the Dragon’s Lair arcade game, Bush-Reagan campaign signs, and a nod to Risky Business.

Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Natalia Dyer will reprise their roles. And, of course, Millie Bobby Brown will return as the show’s breakout character Eleven.
