When you were a kid, your parents warned you how permanent tattoos are for a reason. Even if you think you love something enough that you'll treasure it forever, you never know what sort of changes in your life will cause you to change how you feel.

Kylie Jenner found this out the hard way. She inked herself with a tribute to her ex-boyfriend Tyga early in 2017, not long before they called things off once again. That put Jenner in a bit of a tough spot—how exactly do you continue walking around with a visible tribute to someone you're not in a relationship with any longer?

Apparently, the answer to that question is "Quite easily," as long as you have a good tattoo artist. Jenner was spotted out on the town with an alteration to the infamous "t" tattoo, now looking like it says "LA" in lower-case letters. If it wasn't for the photographic evidence of it being a t before, you would never know it had been a tribute to Tyga to begin with.

Kylie Jenner London sighting

An homage to the city of Los Angeles seems a little more fitting than one to Tyga at this point. In fact, Jenner has already moved on to matching tattoos with her new flame, Travis Scott, right around the same region on her ankle. It would be a hell of a mixed message to leave the former tattoo intact now that she's seeing Scott, who she has been spotted out with a bunch over the last few months.

From the look of things, both parties are doing their best to move on from the old fling. Tyga got roasted when he was spotted with a new lady friend in late April, but that was mostly because he looked extremely guilty while hitting the town with his new boo. With other members of the Kardashian clan going through an ugly post-breakup period, Jenner and Tyga have decided they'd rather stay subtle and just keep it moving.
