#AmberRoseChallenge Inspires Fans to Put Their Own Spin on Viral SlutWalk Photo

Amber Rose inspires fans to give Instagram censorship the middle finger.

The 2017 edition of Amber Rose's now iconic SlutWalk is coming up this October. To announce the third annual SlutWalk, Rose shared a bottomless photo on Instagram:

Due to bullshit corporations being embarrassingly afraid of nudity, Rose's post was swiftly removed from Instagram. However, the #BringBackTheBush moment lives on via Twitter and Facebook.

In follow-up posts on Instagram, Rose criticized the platform's deletion of the photo and challenged her followers to respond with a united effort. "When IG deletes ur fire ass feminist post but you really don't give a fuck because everyone picked it up already," Rose wrote in a caption over the weekend, adding the hashtags #AmberRoseSlutWalk and #BringBackTheBush.

In the days since Rose's original post, the #AmberRoseChallenge has exploded on social media. In an Instagram caption that has since been deleted, Rose detailed the challenge's guidelines. "Amber Rose challenge anyone?" Rose said, according to Refinery 29. "Post your version of my picture and hashtag #AmberRoseChallenge [on] behalf of feminism, body positivity, and not conforming to society norms of how we should live, what we should wear, and where we should shave."

Days later, the #AmberRoseChallenge is still going strong on Instagram:

The third annual Amber Rose SlutWalk kicks off Oct. 1 in Pershing Square in Los Angeles, California. "Given our current political climate and issues throughout the globe, there's no better moment than to stand in unity on October 1st," a SlutWalk rep said of this year's event. "We've added a few extra special activations this year including extending the march about a mile long! So put on your sexy-comfy shoes and be ready to strut your sign alongside Amber Rose and the rest of the world." More details are available here.
