Not everything is awful. For instance, Netflix dropped a 27-second teaser for Dave Chappelle's three-part Netflix takeover Thursday. There's not exactly a ton of footage or details to speak of in the clip, but we now know we're getting two Chappelle specials from the comedian's "personal comedy vault" on Mar. 21.

For clarity, let me repeat: TWO DAVE CHAPPELLE SPECIALS ARE HITTING NETFLIX THIS MONTH.

In the teaser and accompanying tweet, Netflix uses the semi-vague description of "two specials, one event." The two specials, according toEntertainment Weekly, include the March 2016 recording The Age of Spin and the April 2015 Austin City Limits show entitled Deep in the Heart of Texas. But is the "one event" in the tweet referencing the side-by-side release date for these specials, or the previously announced stand-up special from director Stan Lathan?

Netflix, in a press release last November announcing Chappelle's deal, said the iconic comedian was prepping "three all-new stand-up specials" for the streaming platform. "Dave Chappelle is a legendary voice in comedy — searing, vital, and now more than ever, essential," Lisa Nishimura, Netflix VP of Original Documentary and Comedy, said in the press release. "Dave's three new specials promise to be some of the most anticipated events in comedy, and we are honored he will mark his global return on Netflix."

Chappelle joined Saturday Night Live as host last November, marking the first episode of the NBC series since the presidential election. "I didn't know that Donald Trump was going to win the election," Chappelle said in his opening monologue. Though it seemed like Clinton was doing well in the polls, Chappelle added, he knew something was up:

"I know the whites," Chappelle said. "You guys aren't as full of surprises as you used to be. And I think I speak for all of black America when I say that we are all praying for Omarosa. I don't even know what she's doing in the news. But America's done it. We've actually elected an internet troll as our president." For more truth through comedy, hit Netflix later this month.
