Trump's bizarre, combative White House press conference Thursday provided late-night with a plethora of material. Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers, and both of the Jimmys spent sizable portions of their shows taking a closer look at the former Apprentice host's 75-minute presser.

"The president focused on the one thing that made him happy right away, besides his nightly bathrobe time," Colbert said. "He took a moment to reminisce about his election." After playing a clip of Trump's Electoral College claims, Colbert attributed the apparent math discrepancy to the nomination of Betsy DeVos as the Secretary of Education. "Wow, Betsy DeVos works quick," he said. "That's called the DeVos effect."

On The Daily Show, Noah said he and his team had a "really nice show" planned before "Hurricane Trump" happened:

"You're the president," Noah said of those same Electoral College claims. "That's the information you were given? If you can't trust a president to get the right information on a Googleable fact, then can you really trust him with the harder stuff? Which, by the way, is everything else the president of the United States has to deal with!"

For Meyers, "batshit" was a solid description of Trump's display:

The presser also disrupted Late Night's original plans for the "A Closer Look" segment Thursday. "This may come as a surprise to Donald Trump," Meyers said, "but it turns out the demands of actually governing are much more strenuous than the free-for-all atmosphere of campaigning."

Jimmy Kimmel got in a jab by doing a supercut of Trump's most ridiculous comments.
