Charges Filed Against 4 Suspects in Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery

The first charges have been filed against four suspects in the Paris robbery of Kim Kardashian, with more charges possibly coming soon.

Charges have been filed against four suspects in connection with the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian. French authorities filed the first charges Thursday and may hand down additional charges in the coming days, the Guardianreported. As previously reported, investigators now believe the robbery may have been an "inside job."

A 63-year-old suspect named by Paris prosecutors as "Yunice A" was given preliminary charges of armed robbery in an organized gang, kidnapping, and criminal association. Florus H, 44, was handed complicity charges related to the alleged robbery and kidnapping, in addition to a preliminary criminal association charge. According to the Guardian, 64-year-old Marceau B was hit with preliminary charges of criminal association and handling stolen goods.

A 27-year-old suspect identified only as "Gary M," presumed to be the brother of Kardashian's Paris chauffeur Michael Madar, was also hit with complicity and preliminary criminal association charges. While Gary was released under judicial supervision Thursday, Michael—who was among those arrested earlier this week—was reportedly freed entirely. An additional six suspects, the Guardian added, remain in custody and could face charges.

Kardashian, who announced on Instagram on Thursday that she and the fam were heading to Dubai, briefly addressed the armed robbery in a recent trailer for the American institution known as Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "They're gonna shoot me in the back," Kardashian told the family in an emotional scene from the forthcoming new season. "There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."
