Vin "Candy Ass" Diesel is surely celebrating this weekend, as the latest trailer for xXx: Return of Xander Cage has amassed a whopping 100 million views in a mere two days.
The Facebook-premiered new trailer for the third entry in the xXx franchise surpassed 100 million views across "various platforms," according to numbers crunched byDeadline. The trailer will also be attached to screenings of the Vin Diesel-less Doctor Strange this weekend. For true Diesel heads, that means buying a $20 ticket to that movie only to walk out as soon as the xXx trailer you've already seen is over.
To compare that haul with a noticeably less ridiculous franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens landed 112 million views in a single day back in 2015. But hey, not bad for a movie with UNDERWATER MOTORCYCLING. Did we mention that part yet? The part about the underwater motorcycling?
Speaking of hyped trailers, Diesel is already out here teasing the release date for the first Fast 8 trailer seemingly too far in advance for reasonable people. As Diesel quietly revealed on Facebook alongside a somber photo of himself as the incomparable Dominic Toretto, the first proper glimpse at Fast 8 arrives Dec. 11.
