Kim Kardashian Will Reportedly Make First Major Public Appearance Since Paris Robbery (UPDATE)

Kim Kardashian will reportedly make her first major public appearance Monday since being held at gunpoint in Paris in October.

UPDATE 9:40 p.m. ET: Kim Kardashian, who was expected to make her first major public appearance since being a victim of an armed robbery last month, skipped Monday's Angel Ball in New York City, according toPeople. On Monday night it was reported Kardashian's husband Kanye West was hospitalized in Los Angeles. When asked how West was before the Angel Ball, Kris Jenner responded, "Exhausted!"

Another report from Page Six offers a more detailed breakdown. According to a source, “Kim was seen boarding a private jet to New York at around 5 a.m. L.A. time and had planned to make a late entrance to the gala, skipping the red carpet, to honor her father."

The source added, “When she landed in New York, something was very wrong with Kanye, she turned around and headed straight back to L.A. to be at his side.”

Kim Kardashian is reportedly set to make her first major public appearance since being held at gunpoint during an armed robbery at her Paris apartment in October. Kardashian is "expected to appear" at Denise Rich's Angel Ball Monday alongside Kris Jenner and other members of the fam, Page Sixreported.

"People were working on convincing her to come last week," a source said of the event, which will see the late Robert Kardashian honored at Cipriani Wall Street. "She would join the family on stage to accept the award, but who knows if she will speak for the family." Rob, Kourtney, and Khloé are also expected to attend.

The outing would mark Kardashian's first major public appearance since the robbery, though she was spotted last month at a Saint Pablo date in Inglewood and caught by paparazzi grabbing some frozen yogurt with Jonathan "Food God" Cheban earlier the same day. Cameras were reportedly rolling for Keeping Up With the Kardashians backstage. Kardashian, however, "did not participate."

Though developments regarding the armed robbery investigation have been minimal in recent weeks, Entertainment Tonight reported earlier this month that Kardashian and husband Kanye West had made the decision to part ways with a longtime member of their security detail: Pascal Duvier. "Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye," a source said at the time. "It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances."
