The concierge at the No Address Hotel in Paris has spoken out regarding the horrific armed robbery of Kim Kardashian. In an open letter to Kardashian obtained by the Daily Mail, the concierge explained he had no choice but to follow the assailants' orders in an effort to save both their lives.

"Dear Kim, when you feel the cold steel of a gun at your neck, it is the moment when remaining calm can mean the difference of life or death, both our lives," the concierge said in an open letter first circulated this week by French publication Closer. "I hope you are feeling better." The Daily Mail has also obtained new information on the events surrounding the robbery, including more details on how the armed men were able to so easily access Kardashian's private apartment inside the $31,000-a-month complex.

The armed men, still at large, reportedly put a gun to the hotel employee's neck and threatened his life if he did not take them to Kardashian's apartment. After the doors were opened, the armed men reportedly brought the concierge inside Kardashian's apartment with them. "There really wasn't anything the concierge could do when the guns came out," an insider told the Daily Mail Thursday.

The fallout of the robbery has impacted multiple facets of the massive Kardashian brand, including the family's long-running E! docuseries Keeping Up With the Kardashians. As reported Thursday, source close to production have claimed that the series is now "on hold indefinitely." Additionally, Kim Kardashian is reportedly revamping her public appearance and social media strategy in light of the security breach.
