Oprah Refuses to Pick Between President Trump or President Kanye: 'Don't Even Imagine It'

Oprah isn't even interested in imagining President Donald Trump or President Kanye West.

Days after expressing her support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey was pressed to open up about the idea of Donald Trump getting in the White House. In the same breath, O Magazine editor Lucy Kaylin mentioned a prospective Kanye West presidency. For Winfrey, neither are worth much consideration.

The moment came near the end (around the 51-minute mark in the video above) of a "Master Class" discussion hosted by Hearst, in which Oprah Winfrey and Lucy Kaylin discussed the power of celebrity and the importance of "stepping into" one's dreams. During a rapid-fire portion of the chat, Kaylin asked Winfrey to pick one: President Trump or President Kanye?

"Oh lord, oh lord," Winfrey responded. "Don't even imagine it."

Winfrey let loose a few more details on her disdain for the ideas set forth by Trump during a recent sit-down with pastor and TV personality T.D. Jakes. "There really is no choice, people," Winfrey told Jakes' audience, referencing the surprising amount of voters who still claim to be undecided. "I hear this all the time. You get into conversations, and there's not a single person in this room who hasn't been in the same conversation, where people say, 'I just don't know if I like her.' She's not coming over your house! You don't have to like her. Do you like this country?" According to Winfrey, Trump is a straight-up "demagogue."
