A recent batch of photos showing Kim Kardashian and Jonathan "Food God" Cheban on a frozen yogurt run in Los Angeles has approximately one person questioning its validity. A so-called "marketing pro" and apparent frozen yogurt expert toldPage Six Sunday that the photos, shown below, were staged:
"She doesn't even eat yogurt—she is on Atkins," this source without a name claimed to the Six team. "That was a staged photo to portray Kim as likeable—a shot where she wouldn't be wearing makeup, and not [be plugging] any brands." Hmm. What?!? Sounds like this allegedly real "marketing pro" source just can't fathom the idea of someone simply wanting to reward themselves with some sprinkles and froyo.
A representative for the Kardashians rebuked claims of a staged froyo run, politely informingPage Six that adhering to Atkins doesn't mean one is incapable of indulging in the occasional sweet. "She wanted to get out of the house with a friend," the rep said Sunday. "As far as being on Atkins—sometimes people have treats while on their meal plan."
Shortly after the photographed froyo run with the Food God himself, Kardashian was spotted by Entertainment Tonight backstage at husband Kanye West's Saint Pablo show in Inglewood. Kardashian, who was reportedly accompanied by "a dozen or so" guards at the show due to the recent Paris robbery, was joined by sister Kourtney and the aforementioned Food God. Though Keeping Up With the Kardashians was believed to be filming during the show, Kardashian did not participate in the shoot.
