Call it the latest salvo in the "Candy Ass" feud between the stars of the highly anticipated blockbuster Fast 8. In a recent Instagram post, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson celebrated the wrap of filming by thanking his co-stars and director F. Gary Gray but failed to include one big name: producer and lead actor Vin Diesel.

"Thank you to our director F. Gary Gray for the vision and execution. Thank you UNIVERSAL for being tremendous partners as always, thank you to all my fellow co-stars for the daily effort and grind," Johnson wrote. "Scott Eastwood you handsome sumbitch! Natalie Emmanuel I have a cold Budweiser ready for you and Tyrese Gibson you still have the biggest smile and forehead I've ever seen.😂 And a huge THANK YOU to our hard working production crew - the backbone of our business."

It's almost fitting that Johnson would deliver this kind of parting shot at Diesel over Instagram, as it was the same medium that made their feud public in the first place. A couple of weeks back, Johnson took to the social media site to say, "My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

It was quickly discerned that the "Candy Ass" in question was Diesel. According to TMZ, production sources said The Rock and Diesel, the heart of the Fast and the Furious franchise, met for a "secret meeting" where Johnson expressed the ways that he didn't agree with Diesel's decision making as a producer, as both are producers on the film. The meeting is said to have come about after shooting became near impossible.

The saga continues.
