How's the dawn of ChyRo treating you? If Blac Chyna's nude and glowing Paper magazine cover got you properly hyped for next month's Rob & Chyna series premiere, then a fresh chat between Rob Kardashian and People should only up the hype even more. Rob doesn't typically do a ton of interviews, but he made an exception to talk about how much he values his relationship with Chyna and the excitement he has for their future.

"She got me through my darkest times," Rob toldPeople as part of a cover story exclusive. "I wasn't happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things." Rob also revealed that he knew he wanted to be "more than friends" immediately after meeting Chyna.

"I've been friends with Chyna for a long time," Rob said. "She was someone I reached out to for advice. She would cook for me and we'd just talk. She's surrounded me with a lot of positivity." Though the future with Chyna and their forthcoming first child together has him excited, Rob noted that he's still working on getting back to total happiness. "We just want to live our lives the way we want to," Rob toldPeople. "There were definitely dark days for me, and I'm still not fully happy looking at myself in the mirror. But I'm working towards that. And I'm happy."

With the mid-season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians set for this Sunday, dedicated viewers may be living with the constant fear of a TV drought. Thankfully, the generous souls over at E! have strategically timed the premiere of Rob & Chyna so that fans will only have to wait a couple weeks before feeling like TV is even worth it again.
