It’s been 25 years since the hip-hop loving extraterrestrial duo of ToeJam and Earl first blessed our video game consoles—this was back in the good old 16-bit days of the Sega MegaDrive (or Genesis if you’re from America). After a long-awaited absence from the gaming world they're finally making a return to consoles and PC with ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove.

Released under Adult Swim Games, 'Back in the Groove 'appears to be a remake of their highly popular MegaDrive debut from 1991. With updated graphics, a quirky story and a killer, hip-hop inspired soundtrack this looks like it's shaping up to be another cult classic from ToeJam and Earl.

ToeJam and Earl: Back in The Groove will be available sometime next year, for now you can check out what's in store in the trailer above. To find out more click here.
