A while back, some concept designs turned up online for a device that would turn your phone into a Game Boy. People presumed it was just an April Fool’s prank, but designers Hyperkin announced they were actually going to make one for real. And an actual, live working one was displayed at E3.
It’s not just an emulator—the device actually has a slot for you to plug in your old Game Boy cartridges. Your phone also plugs into it, and it has a physical d-pad and A & B buttons so you don’t have to mess about with awful touch screen controls. At the moment it only runs on Android, and you can pre-order it now before it ships on December 1.
